CONSOLIDAREA ASOCIAȚIEI BIBLIOTECARILOR DIN REPUBLICA MOLDOVA PRIN LEADERSHIP ȘI COMPETENȚĂ

Abstract

       The article describes the results and lessons learned after implementation of the project “Straightening LAM institutional capacity”. Author underlines the importance of the Policy and Procedural Manual that was developed, as a project activity and how it helped to bridge communication between LAM Council members and leaders. This assisted LAM Council members and twenty LAM leaders to gain confidence in their professional abilities and meet professionals who are already involved in LAM service. The article, exemplifies how twenty committed and motivated leaders from across the country have benefited from a solid foundation of skills and strategies through trainings in the appropriate subject areas (fundraising, project management etc.) that helped LAM to expand the capacity of the next generation of leaders.
