Abstract

The article analyzes the concept of the Innovation Contest and its implementation within the B.P. Hasdeu Municipal Library. The author highlights the dynamism and the library network’s ability to generate creative ideas and solutions for the community. With 33 innovations presented by 25 participants from 20 branches and 5 departments, the contest demonstrated thematic diversity, team spirit, and the library’s orientation toward innovation, inclusion, and sustainable development. The proposed initiatives covered a wide range of areas, from cultural and educational services to digitalization, research, and the promotion of local heritage, confirming the library’s role as an active space in the life of the city.
